Joshua Thomas Parrett is a British photographer living and working in Plymouth, Devon. At the age of 25 he first started to experiment with photography as a medium, creating zines and prints from the pictures made on his 35mm cameras, before deciding to study and progress his work full time. Joshua’s work often centres around observations on society, community and more recently, visual storytelling.
With a focus on connecting and creating a lasting memory with his subjects, Joshua sees the camera as a tool to experience subjects that would otherwise be difficult to explore without it, whilst using an array of printing techniques to best inform the his naratives.
